So glad to see a new restaurant come to Molalla and one that serves up Mexican food AND chicken wings! What a combination! I ordered the Honey Maple Bacon bone in wings and a Picadita from Case de Caldo (I love that you can order both wings and Mexican from the same cashier! along with an agua fresca. I was sure I'd only eat half the order of 9 wings but nooooo, I ate them all! And the picadita! Yes, I walked out the door stuffed to the gills but it was all so good, I couldn't bring myself to stop eating. I've been back several times since this first visit and although I've enjoyed everything I've ordered, I'm stuck on those honey maple bacon wings for sure. Now I'm hungry!
We recently tried Wingman and had a good experience. The restaurant was clean and had friendly staff. They have a sign that states their food is made to order and not fast food. We ordered three flavors of bone in wings and it took about 30 minutes to complete. The spicy buffalo wings were good (and yes, they are spicy), but we felt we should have ordered boneless wings for the other two flavors garlic Parmesan and maple bacon. We were not fans of the garlic Parmesan too much grease. All in all a good first visit. We'll likely want to try a few of their signature dishes next.
I was greeted with the biggest smile, and welcomed! He also let me know that he could answer any questions. One side of the menu was authentic Mexican food, and the other side were chicken wings. They had bone in or boneless, and quite a selection of glazing sauces. I chose Honey Maple Bacon. It was amazing. They also place a piece of Texas toast in the bottom of the box, where it catches the glaze. It’s like a dessert!!! I wasn’t able to even eat 1/2 of the order. But am glad to have leftovers!!! Highly recommended!!!
