Good News Restaurant And Bar - Woodbury

I have visited this restaurant numerous times throughout the years and have never been disappointed. The New York strip steak with homemade onion straws and ketchup is absolutely delicious. It's always a delightful dining experience.

This restaurant is amazing. The service is exceptional and the food is unmatched. We began with the stuffed squash blossoms (highly recommend getting two orders). The salads were delicious and the entrees of salmon on cornbread and beef tenderloin with fresh corn pudding were outstanding. The drinks were just as impressive. Overall, a fantastic dining experience.

Sarah was an excellent waitress who made our dining experience truly enjoyable. She showed exceptional patience towards my family member who has dementia, and her service was top-notch.

Staff was very friendly. We were seated in the bar area (not by request) and it got pretty crowded in there and the bartender was the main waiter for every table as well as maintaining the bar! So not as responsive, but understandable. Food was verygood. Lots of choices for every appetite. I had the salmon, short ribs were enjoyed thoroughly by my better half. We alsoenjoyed the hummus and wok veggies. Cost was about $35 pp without alcohol.

Amazing food and I do not give out many five stars!!! Had oysters, and lamb meatballs. Lots of other interesting menu items I could have picked including vegan and veggie options. The mix of flavors was perfect with the lamb, feta, tomato sauce andeggplant and zuchini. Wine was delicious. Decor in bar was very artsy. This place is a real pleasure to visit. If only welived closer.
