Seven Star Diner - Woodbury

The food was excellent, and the service was good, although the staff appeared to be a bit inexperienced when handling larger groups. We had a party of 23, which can be challenging to accommodate, but they managed quite well. However, when it came time for the birthday cake we brought, they had already cut it without asking us. That was a bit disappointing. Overall, though, it was a good experience. The restaurant also has plenty of space, with larger rooms available for parties of up to 50 guests.

Wow, a true no-frills diner experience. If you need a break from the trendier restaurants and are craving good old-fashioned Jersey beakfast, this is your place. Ordered the bacon , egg, and cheese on toasted Rye with home fries and fiance had the strawberry pancakes. Simple but delicious and generous portions. Also ran efficiently with short wait times for seating and food. Came for Sunday brunch but will definitely return to check out their bar for dinner one evening.

This was awesome! Their food was amazing! Their disco fries were awesome, their Crock of French Onion soup was one of the best I’ve ever had! I got the Honey Dijon grilled wrap and it was amazing!! Our server was so friendly, and was really nice! The service was great, and the prices were good too! All in all it was an amazing time, and we will be returning!!!!

I had a wonderful lunch—everything was delicious! Our server was fantastic and didn't keep us waiting too long for dinner. The desserts also looked tempting!

The restaurant has a spacious layout with plenty of seating at the bar and on the terrace. I've never sat on the terrace, but it looks like a lovely place to enjoy a meal. Typically, when I arrive, they seat me in a specific area due to my kids, which I understand as they are trying to create a peaceful atmosphere for other diners. They have a good selection of drinks, and I highly recommend the stir fry—it's probably the best dish I've had at Seven Stars so far. The desserts are also delicious. A friend of mine encountered a mix-up with his burger order and the additional sides and sauces, but overall he enjoyed his meal. While it’s great for families, I’ve decided that from now on, I’ll just stick to ordering the bread basket or dessert instead of a full meal.
