The Fox Hollow - Woodbury

We went for a birthday celebration. On 3 occasions I attempted to have a candle put in my partners dessert. When the dessert came, no candle was placed for the birthday. furthermore, when I went to use my Foodie card for a 10 percent discount, I was told that on Lobster nite no card is accepted. I was perplexed because only one of us had lobster nite menu. The other person ordered from the regular menu so a partial discount should have been given. The next day I called the manager to complain about the card as well as the lack of candle for the birthday celebration. She said she is sorry about the lack of follow thru re: the birthday celebration and she stood firm on no foodie card permitted. I feel that she was laissez faire on both counts. It's a shame because the food itself was good but as far as customer satisfaction, they lack courtesy and consideration for somebody coming for a special celebration.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel as we were part of the bridal party for my sister's wedding. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The hotel and surrounding grounds are absolutely beautiful and the staff was amazing. Pros: the check in process was very easy We stayed in a King Studio Suite and the room was really nice and very spacious. The breakfast included with the hotel stay was really good. There were lots of options. I will say the quality of the food was better on Saturday morning than it was on Friday morning. Cons: the carpet in the hallways desperately need to be replaced. There were many spot where the carpet is raised and buckling which is a safety hazard. And the carpet looks really old which does not match the rest of the hotel decor which is more modern and up to date.

Had my wedding here 6-11-23. Amazing food. Service and staff incredibly helpful, professional, kind.Ground are stunning. Very very very happy we chose this location for our wedding. This place was great! The staff was attentive and excellent, and the reception area was fantastic. What a great venue for weddings and meetings. The buffet was very good and plentiful. Hey, it has its minor flaws, but the people are what made the difference!Rooms: 4/5

We were there for a wedding and everything was great. Staff were friendly and helpful, the selection of food during the cocktail hour was amazing, and the dinner choices were outstanding. My only complaint would be how warm it was in the reception room.Service: 4/5
