I met a friend for dinner and this was half way for us which is why we needed up here. It was a 45 minute drive and not very worth it. The jalapeño margarita was good but was 90% ice. It also was not included in the happy hour special so it was $10. Not worth it in my opinion. We started with the Mexican Pasta which was a special. Tasted okay but the pasta was undercooked. I like al dente but this was hard to chew. For my dinner I ordered the shredded chicken tacos. The rice didn't have much flavor and the chicken was a little chewy. The service was incredibly slow despite being empty on a Tuesday night. Our server was a nice gentleman, checked on our table periodically. Just not worth the travel time or money for me.
Love this place great food selection of drinks. Nice staff totally ideal very humble nice interior.
Had lunch there yesterday and it was very good. We both had Fajitas and they were really good. Not skimpy on the protein and the beans were really delicious. Prices reasonable and portions large. We will be back
Our meals and drinks were excellent, pork was tender, steak was don as requested and also tender. I'm a chicken eater- perfect. We had a variety of appetizers and loved them too. I love black beans! They make them great. The staff was courteous- not in your face, and attentive. A great night with outside seating. We highly recommend and will go back again.
A nice atmosphere and the servers were very nice, pushing this review to 2 stars. To begin with the Red Sangria was watery and tortilla chips were not very fresh. My sons Ola Chicken was dry and tough. He had trouble cutting it with a knife so assume it's been frozen for some time. My Paella was average at best, mussels and clams were ok yet the calamari was tasteless and chewy, and it included that same dry chicken. The Mango Shrimp with fried plantains which were very good as were the black beans. Wife gave up on the Sangria so went with a traditional Margarita which was so-so, yet didn't ask for top shelf. No take-home containers were needed, we had no interest in seeing it again!
