Route 522 Taproom The 522 - Woodinville

What a find! We were driving from Seattle to Leavenworth and decided to stop for lunch. We used Apple Maps to find a lunch spot and this place came up as an option. We decided to try it without even looking at the menu cause it had a good star rating. Wealmost didn?t find it as it is tucked away behind a shopping plaza. It?s a small, industrial looking restaurant with a selectmenu, excellent service and a nice variety of beers. Between the four of us we tried the chicken vegetable soup, French onionsoup, chef salad, Chinese chicken salad and tater tots. The salad dressings are all homemade, the tater tots are baked and theportions are huge. The chef/owner came out to check on us and seemed genuinely appreciative that we enjoyed our meal. It?sdefinitely worth stopping by and I would go back.

My wife and I ate lunch today at Route 522 Taproom and the food was over the top fabulous. I had the Prime Rib Supreme and my wife had the Cubano Sandwich. This was our second time there and if you have not had the pleasure, you are missing a trulygourmet, culinary experience. The menu is unique, fun and the Chef/Owner is incredibly talented and as i understand it, theymake everything in house. This will be a great place take our friends and we will return often. Absolutely Terrific!!!

This is a lovely spot for lunch. They have a great bar with a nice variety of beer taps. The owner is friendly and welcoming. The food is tasty, and the portion sizes are generous. They also had sports on the TV, and the music was at just the right volume. I would definitely recommend this place for a satisfying meal and a refreshing beer.

This taphouse has an impressive selection, but it was the salmon dinner that really wowed me. The salmon was cooked to perfection—moist and flavorful, without the dryness that many places fall into. Honestly, it surpasses what you’d find in most high-end seafood restaurants. The chef clearly has a lot of talent. The rice and vegetables were a bit bland and could have used more seasoning, but honestly, who cares when the salmon tastes this amazing?

We cannot recommend this place highly enough! The food is fantastic, and the owner and his wife are truly delightful. We would suggest it to anyone looking for a great dining experience. Be sure to try the chicken sesame salad and the salmon burger—they are both outstanding! And definitely don’t skip dessert!
