Emc Seafood Raw - Woodland Hills

This restaurant has experienced a significant decline in quality. I ordered the seafood pasta and received a boiled shrimp, some bland and tasteless clams, and unseasoned pasta. I had to order cheese on the side just to give it some flavor. If it weren't for the fact that they can still get food from their neighboring restaurant Wockano, this place would have closed long ago. I used to enjoy their calamari, but now it lacks the full flavor it once had and is underwhelming. I used to be a fan of this place, but not anymore.

The food quality has significantly declined. I used to enjoy coming here, but not anymore. The seafood pasta and Calamari were both disappointing and lacked flavor. The drinks menu is also nothing special, so I see no reason to revisit in the future. However, I did receive friendly service during my visit.

Fanny Bay oysters were out of this word good and fresh. Service was quick and kind. Large water glasses which goes a long way Don’t have to ask for refills! Fried calamari was just okay. Got a lot of pieces that were fried batter only. Didn’t finish the dish.

Terrible service overall. Food average. Used to spend hundreds on this place every visit since moving to the Valley last year. They are so screwed up on both their dining and delivery experience that I can save thousands going forward ?? NEVER PATRONIZING THEM AGAIN. I strongly suggest you spend your money at more decent places. Ordered delivery because I have a months old infant. You thought you might have less wait time ordering delivery rather than dining in but no. Didn’t even put in the sauce for their Mushroom truffle aioli fries for delivery. The whole point of paying more was for the sauce. He could have just asked me for receipt if I turn up to pick up for their mistake but no , the manager ASKED me to RETURN WITH THE SAME fries I ordered for food delivery before they gave me new ones with the sauce? What’s the point of paying for food delivery? Fries are supposed to be eaten hot. Why would anyone make you bring down the same fries that you ordered for food delivery 3 hours before? I had to made sure they really gave me a new batch and not refry the ones I brought down. Had to push down my infant in a stroller for this. Manager has no sense of service recovery or EQ after extremely inconveniencing customers, also runs Wokano. Plain disgusting manners. Will take note. It’s NOT better dine in EITHER because we remember waiting around for our food for almost 45 mins to an hour after our drinks. Even Panera Bread or Sweet Fina at the Village gives better value for money, food and service. Or go to Morton’s, Chris Ruth’s, Flemings, Bazille, Eureka (craft beers in the village) or Cava (also in Village), The boiling crab (for fresh oysters and seafoood) for the price you are paying at this place. Wasted my time will not waste my money again. Do yourself a favour, you will be happier off too.

Overall, the experience was great at this restaurant. Our server was excellent - she was very friendly and helpful, even checking in with us to see how our meal was. The chicken wings were delicious, and the atmosphere was pleasant as well.
