No matter what your dietary preferences are, you can find something delicious here. I tried the grilled vegetable panini without cheese and also enjoyed a cup of lentil soup, both of which were delicious. I left feeling satisfied and great! I also recommend trying the Sadaf tea.
I rate this restaurant 4 stars because the marinated tofu is incredibly delicious. The updated online menu clearly indicates vegan options. I tried the Tofu wrap, falafels, and lentil soup. The tofu dishes were the standout for me. The lentil soup was tasty and I believe most people would enjoy it. The falafels had good flavor, but were a little on the dry side for my preference.
We started with a little effort to get our waiter to understand the difference between vegan and vegetarian. I suspect there might have been more that we would have eaten if the staff really understood our needs. but overall it was a very good experience.
I recently found out that they use butter in their delicious rice! It's so frustrating! Unfortunately, all of their bread except for the pita is not vegan. I really hope that their tofu isn't made with butter because it's probably the best tofu I've ever had. I'll make sure to ask next time I go.
Very excited to see my submission on happy cow! I thought this would be a great place for people like me who are mainly not vegan / non vegetarian friends. No matter what their nutritional preferences are, they can definitely find something delicious here. I tried the grilled sweet panini, but asked her to remove the cheese, and I got a cup of lentil soup both of it were very delicious. I felt great after what was great! I also recommend the sadaf tee!
