Jibang Sushi Hibachi - Woodlawn

For starters, we had the vegetable tempura and some dumplings, both of which were perfectly fried and came with nicely balanced salty and slightly sweet dipping sauces. We also tried a variety of sushi, including spicy tuna, vegetable roll, sweet potato, California, and Boston rolls. Each one was delicious, and I would happily order any of them again. The prices were reasonable. I'm still adjusting to the inflationary trend, but they seemed fair. The staff inside were friendly, but it's worth mentioning that I got halfway home before they called to tell me they had forgotten part of my order and asked me to return. I also overheard them making a similar call to another customer while I was waiting initially, so be sure to double-check your order before leaving! Overall, it's worth a visit.

The sushi here is tasty, but be cautious— the lady tends to rush through the details and will try to charge you for extra sauces. Considering how much I've been spending there over time, I believe sauces should be included. I didn't appreciate her fast-talking approach when discussing additional charges. Overall, the food quality deserves a 4, while the service and atmosphere both get a 3.
