I stopped on Saturday afternoon in December on a cool NE Ohio. I started with a bowl of Matzo ball soup. It is served hot cakes perfect for a day like today. The broth tastes very good. I followed the soup with the regular not the KING size Hot Pastrami Sandwich YUMMY! They served with the sandwich complementary entire dill pick gaps. The server, Chad was very nice and attentive. He had several customers and tried to treat each customer especially and with great service. His extra effort seemed effortless and that later in the afternoon. He asked me if I was interested in Dessert. I saw the candy in the take-off section on the way back to the din in the area when I arrived. Everything looked so good. After the soup and the sandwich I was pleasantly satisfied and did not say unwilling to dessert. All in all a very good culinary experience. I'm back. You bet I'll be back for great food and great service.
Really amazing! I have a hearing about how great this place has been by my brother in law for years and finally went. My server was amazing. He knew what we needed before he asked and was really nice. In addition to large staff, the food lives until the hype. Everyone in our group had amazing meals and were so glad that we drove out of the way to go to lunch. Let's go.
I had the best corned beef sandwich on rye today! Yummy! This was a family favorite many moons before Cedar. My father was there weekly with his cronies. Good times and good food! I miss these good old days!
The food was great, but the process is difficult for someone like me, with mobility problems. It contains a lot of standing around, although no one seemed to have a problem when I was sitting at the counter. The whole staff was very nice. I cannot recommend the chocolate chip cookies, they are not very sweet. The beef and cookies are to die!
The best salad I ever ate! I had the Rachel. I highly recommend it. There was so much meat I took half of it off and took it home for a sandwich the next day. My only regret is that I didn't buy the bread to go with!!
