Contribuisci feedbackWe usually go to this Subway because it is closer to my house but not because the service is good. But what happened last Thursday evening is the final thing I would take from this woman that makes the sandwiches at this location. My daughter asked for a foot long ham sandwich and she put 3 pieces of ham together. She didn't spread it out so lettuce, and tomatoes were falling out of the sandwich when she was wrapping it off and she didn't even care. But it wasn't because she put a lot of lettuce and tomatoes, it was because she was just throwing the vegetables in the sandwich when she was making it. Just a shame. I'm paying for my food so I expect a good sandwich. Very disappointing.
I don't go to Subway often, but since it's literally walking distance from my home, and I was in route there, I decided for one to stop in because I'm in no mood to cook, and for two it's quick . Walked in placed my order, and was out within 5 minutes tops. The place was clean,quiet, and I like their sandwiches. Also, the young man that took my order and prepared my food, was really nice.
I called there today and placed order with very nice lady who took order over phone; she was most polite and easy to talk to! My brother will go by and pick up for me. I have eaten here several times and they were all polite and nice to me. I also go by the one in Walmart in Darien and the owner is very friendly as well as the people taking care of his shop. The lady who took order over phone was exceptionally kind. She has taken care of my order before and they always ask me if I wish it to be toasted. I enjoy Subway and the fact that I can also add hot peppers to the sandwich!
6/5/2017 I went into Subway today for lunch. There was a group of middle school kids in the store. School just let out and they had meal coupons. I have to say, it was chaotic but the kids were so happy to be out of school that it made me smile. The girl in front of me tried to use her coupon. The manager refused it saying she had already used the coupon. The student pleaded her case and was rejected. I spoke up and asked the manager if she took the coupons as they were used. She said yes. So why are you saying this coupon was already used? No response. Finally, I've taken enough today. This girl did not get a lunch like her friends. I told the manager that if you mistreat kids, they grow up and will not patronize you. I also told her I was leaving and that she was not getting my business. I stand up for what is right! This was wrong. This Subway will not get my business any longer.
I called to place a takeout order, and I wasn't impressed with the customer service. The staff member I spoke to was quite rude. Regardless of how appealing the food looks online, I believe they need to improve their approach to customer interaction.
