Papa Sal's Pizza - Woodside

This is a classic pizza spot in NYC. You can walk in, grab a slice to go, fold it up, and enjoy the delicious pizza while heading to Queens to people-watch. I also recommend trying the rice balls and/or the pepperoni pinwheels – you can't go wrong with either! We hadn't visited in years because we moved away, but it seems much cleaner than I remember. The owner was extremely friendly, and we ordered a dozen beef patties to take with us. I really miss having this place just down the street from where we used to live.

Papa Sal's Pizza is absolutely delicious and undeniably authentic! My delivery arrived piping hot, and the delivery person greeted me with the biggest smile, clearly taking pride in his work. The delivery was impressively quick too. The hot wings were crispy and full of flavor, and the garlic knots? Wow, they were so good that I could almost take a bath in them! This place is a hidden gem that you definitely need to discover!
