Oasis Steakhouse - Woodstock

The restaurant is quiet and usually empty when you're there. I tried the steak and it was okay, nothing exceptional, similar to what you would have at home. The atmosphere is lacking, it could use more customers to create a better vibe. If you're just looking for a decent meal out, this place will suffice.

The visit to this restaurant resulted from a newspaper discount coupon advertisement. We arrived shortly after 5.00pm and were the only customers until our departure after 6.00 pm. The prime rib was very good but the presentation was lacking appeal. Instead of the prime rib juice on the meat, it was a dark gravy. Good but not appealing. Vegetables were nicely cooked and tasty. Mashed & Baked potatos were good. The small salad bar contained fresh items and was adequate. The restaurant name on the large street sign is misleading. Oasis Restaurant and Pub dose not do the place justice. There is a small attractive bar area, but the word "Pub" is misleading. The Owner/Chef would be best served to allow the attractive female waitress to handle the customers.

After a meeting in town, we decided to have lunch at Oasis due to recommendations of their delicious steak. I opted for the steak sandwich.

Unfortunately, we were not impressed at all.
