Osaka Sushi - Woodstock

I enjoyed the pleasant and tidy ambiance of the restaurant, and appreciated the abundance of booth seating. The sushi was decent.

I just want to say that I was initially hesitant about trying out this sushi restaurant because of its location (downtown Woodstock) and the limited number of reviews. However, I was pleasantly surprised.

This restaurant's reviews are all over the place, with ratings ranging from 1 star to 5 stars. It's surprising to see such a wide range of opinions.

Never in my 30 years in foodservice have I experienced such terrible service. If the food were good I might have forgiven the quality of service, but it was mediocre at best. Don't eat here if you want great food and great service. Of course if you have low standards and don't expect much this is the Japanese restaurant for you! I for one will never return.

Tis is probably the fourth time I've eaten here, but will be my last. Went for lunch on a Friday at 2:30pm., clearly states on door lunch is served until 3:30pm. Only 2 other tables of two in the whole place. Three staffers working, and somehow still took 15 minutes to get first set of order. Then server disappears for 20 minutes, heard other tables looking for her. I hadn't even received my second card to order yet. Then she reappears at 3:10 to announce to every table that this would be the last order in for lunch. Umm...wow. Considering how few people were at the restaurant, I found this to be rude. Last chance for this place, average food & very poor service. I'll take my business elsewhere.
