They were freshly cooked and we enjoyed eating them at a table outside the restaurant. The $12 price for a large portion was excellent. The restaurant offers a wide selection of English and Chinese meals.
I recently relocated to Woolloomooloo and decided to check out the new fish and chip shop in the neighborhood. I ordered a large fish fillet, chips, and calamari. The staff member who served me was friendly and the food was delicious. The fish was cooked perfectly, although my daughter almost ate all the chips. It's a small fish and chip shop, not a fancy restaurant, so people should manage their expectations. I noticed that the Chinese dishes on the menu looked tempting, so I plan to come back and try them. The meal for two people with a drink cost $20, which I think is pretty reasonable.
This restaurant offers a classic, affordable takeaway menu with a variety of Chinese dishes. However, the fish and calamari were disappointing in quality, likely due to being overcooked in old oil. The outer batter was crispy but tasted slightly burnt, resulting in tough calamari. Although the prices are budget-friendly, the low quality of the food left me feeling unsatisfied and unlikely to return.
I always want places to see the benefits of doubt with a review and year down whether they improve. The shield say fish and chip the pictures of food in the window Asian, so I ordered chips, fish... tail tail and potato scallops . The demographies of the area still say a low income and the food quality is also reflecting. The potato scallop was about the best of the three hand made, which today automatically increases prices normally over the dollar, but here 70 cents. The fish cocktail where swimming in oil and the brown paper bag demonstrated this when it almost turned up to half onto the bag and thus over the car seat, lemon well I asked three times and got nothing. Chips remained with the standard and well disappointing. In a low demographic, it would be more advantageous to go to Coles, buy frozen products and do it yourself. Maybe the Asian food that seems to be the core of the business is better? but have never tried to cook a chip based on the basic inability!
The food was horrible ordered fish and chips pretty hard to screw that up right? wrong! the fish was slimy and undercooked the chips were cold and tasted foul the area is not somewhere you want to be especially at night very dingy interior wouldn't...be surprised if anyone found bugs in their food
