Woombye Bakery and Coffe Shoppe

I had to pick up some things in Wombye and after I had, I stopped at the Bakery. Really pleasant and engaging staff who seemed to enjoy being there, good coffee and probably the best carrot cake I have ever had. Certainly somewhere to visit again!

Used to be our favourite bakery on Sunshine Coast. A group of 3 meet every Wednesday. Since new owners took over things have changed too much. Last 3 visits the apple pies have come out of the cool room or freezer. Certainly not baked on the day. Pastry is thin dry compared to past. Meat pies have also changed for the worse. Pastry dry thinner not as much filling. Sad to say we will not be returning in a hurry.

A great little bakery that always seems busy. Scones and coffee were both yummy and great prices. The locals obviously love this place....coffee catch ups and workers alike.

This bakery is always busy which is a good indication that they are doing it right. Stopped here for coffee and a cake many times and their bakery goods have always been of a high quality. The staff are friendly and it all makes for a great place to enjoy a cuppa and a snack, and pick up some bread or cakes to take home (the apple pies and carrot cake are delicious).

Compared to large chain bakeries, Woombye Bakery comes out on top. They offer a wide variety of delicious baked goods, have exceptionally friendly staff, and are easily visible from the street.
