Royal Thai Restaurant - WOONONA

The food here is ALWAYS amazing and it has become our 'go to' Thai restaurant. The prices are very good, as is the service. It's not a 'fancy smancy' so the prices are great. I can honestly say it's a winner.

Very average food lacking taste and spice, the tom yum soup was ok however the mains consisting of stir fry seafood basil & jungle beef curry were disappointing

We randomly dropped into royal Thai for dinner and so glad we did food and staff were excellent. When next in the area we will drop into this little restaurant.

I am a rare TripAdvisor contributor but as I wait for my family to visit this restaurant for what must be a monthly habit of ours for years I thought I'd share this gem with a few more people. We live nearby and although the suburb of Woonona is well served by this style of restaurant Daun and Gary produce authentic dishes adjusted to taste if you need at the right price. There's easy takeaway but with BYO and aircon we sit in as often as takeaway. Crying tiger and the tofu and vegetable fried rice is always a winner with my family. More than 4 is always best booked as there's only one big table but grabbing a free table uncooked is usually possible otherwise. TripAdvisor or not, I very rarely risk being a 'recommender' of restaurants but I'd put my name to the food at this one.

Great authentic Thai! It's also byo which is a bonus.
