Simjang - Worcester

Where to even begin? The atmosphere is amazing, the staff behind the bar tonight was incredible, the food I don't even have words for, and then there's Ellen and she just rocks. The miso soy garlic wings are officially my favorite wing in the country (replacing the moxie wings from Strip T's). The banchan was killer, the tteokbokki was to die for, the salmon belly that was brought to me was probably the best piece of fish I've ever eaten, and the show stopper was the jjigae (that was a perfect dish). All the cocktails I had were incredible, the simjang sling being my favorite. I look forward to many more delicious meals.

Gather your friends and order everything. (or order everything by yourself, I’m not judging. Yolo) You don’t want to miss out on the flavor adventure that is simjang. Every dish was so perfectly cooked (or wonderfully raw)! And some on point tiki drinks! Can’t wait to go back!

Best meal we've had in Worcester ever! Loved everything we put in our mouth. Oysters like they were airlifted from Maine and the cape. Best chicken wings I have ever had: crispy, spicy, lots of flavor. Galbi short ribs to die for. Sashimi bowl full of fresh flavors... as if the food didn't speak for itself. Truly wonderful wait staff and atmosphere. Funny, attentive, informative (with out being condescending). They clearly want their guests to feel welcome and to get the most our of their meal. Simple, bright decor. Can not wait to go back!

I might dare to say they have the best wings in the city. We tried a little bit of everything and nothing disappointed! We sat at the bar and the bartenders were super friendly and very helpful! Excited to have something new on Shrewsbury Street. Definitely worth giving it a try!

Simjang has only been open for a week so my friend and I were excited to try a new restaurant. The owner and manager of the restaurant, as well as our waitress, were very helpful explaining the menu and happily answered our numerous questions. The food was so unique, flavorful and presented to beautifully. The service was superb. The decor is colorful and modern and the music was soothing yet uplifting. I do not rate a 5 star rating very often but Simjang deserves it. Looking forward to going back!
