Texas Roadhouse - Worcester

Our meals were fabulous as always, our Server was just great, kept checking on us which is what I always look for when I dine out, and the manager stopped by to make sure we were allset! We both ordered the medallions served over rice, both cooked EXACTLY how we asked, mango margaritas were the bomb! We didn't feel rushed, had time (but not too much time) between apps and our meals, timing was perfect.

I've been a regular at this restaurant since it opened, but unfortunately, my last few visits have been disappointing due to issues with my orders. More often than not, something has gone wrong. For instance, I received a plate of ribs that were still frozen with hot BBQ sauce slathered on top, and the salmon was overcooked. Occasionally, the sides come out incorrect or missing ingredients altogether. That said, it can still be a great experience when it's not busy, and the orders are accurate. The appetizers and menu options are excellent, and the staff is incredibly friendly and quick to resolve any problems you may encounter. However, parking can be a challenge, especially since the plaza is always crowded. From my experience, the food tends to taste much better when you go near opening time rather than closer to closing.

The food is generally good, and I have no complaints in that regard. However, the seating in the booths is quite cramped. As a plus-sized person weighing 300 lbs, I find it very uncomfortable. This is the main reason I don't enjoy dining there. My wife and kids love sitting in booths, but I've never encountered such a tight booth space before. You'd expect everything to be bigger in Texas, but unfortunately, that doesn’t apply to the booth seating. It’s hard to enjoy your meal when the table feels jammed against your stomach. The tables are secured to the floor and wall, making them non-adjustable. They really should consider removing one table from each wall to provide at least six more inches of space for each booth.

Our server was fantastic—very attentive and didn’t mind my direct questions; I tend to challenge servers and staff during my visits. The food met my expectations, showing extra care in preparation and presentation. While I wasn't expecting a five-star or Michelin-rated experience, the meal I received was perfect and truly satisfied my big appetite. It's Texas Roadhouse; don’t shy away from ordering a steak! And don’t miss out on the cactus bloomer—it’s worth it. We’ll definitely update you after our next visit!
