Smashing Sunday roast dinner...all the trimmings. Couldn't manage a Pud. Very welcoming, short staffed so the whole family chipped in to help. Fabulous,charming 400 Pub , quiet, original Beams,stone floors . Original open fireplace.Beautiful garden, glorious in sunshine. John is so warm and friendly,as is his SIster. We had Royal beefburger and I had fish and chips, wow, they were so delicious .Best fish and chips I have eaten and Malc said beefburger to die for. Fabulous people, wonderful pub.Definitely going back. Definitely 110%. Will recommend to all.
