My husband and I and six of our friends had dinner at The Aqueduct Inn last Saturday night. The food was excellent and I have no hesitation in highly recommending this gem of a place. A huge thanks to Nick and Theresa and all the staff for the great evening we had.
Our visit to this Inn did not live up to the recent positive reviews, so perhaps we caught them on an off night. The food we ordered, such as the hake fillet with bones and the chicken breast that seemed to have been kept warm for a while, fell more into the category of basic pub fare. Overall, the experience was mediocre and the prices were not particularly budget-friendly.
Had the turkey roast dinner, lots of gravy given! Came with all the trimmings. Could not fault at all. Very tasty! Would highly recommend eating here
I took 44 people there on a Saturday afternoon and it was great. Staff worked hard, four good cask ales and a good choice of wine/cider/fizz. They put on rolls and soup for us to buy and it was quality stuff. Well worth a visit and a stones' throw from the aqueduct.
