Really nice food, had a Yorkie but the salads and baps look great as well, friendly staff and good prices. Bit cramped when busy.
Always good food. Just had the farmhouse breakfast. It was excellent although last year when I visited the butter for the toast was provided separately. Toast is now pre-buttered with I suspect margarine of some sort. These penny pinching cost saving measures are counter productive. I don't really want my toast soggy with melted butter/margarine. I'd rather do it myself. Other than that and the lack of some mushrooms I have no complaints. Staff are unfailingly efficient, cheerful and helpful. Their sausage and egg barm is one of the best edible experiences in Wrexham.
Now this shop is part of Chatwins. I bought some food and paid, I just sat to eat, suddenly a very fat and rude woman come to me, and told me I must pay extra if I eat in. That is fine for me, I know eat in costs more. However, when I ordered food, the people who served me did not ask me if it was eat in or take out, only told me how much and I just paid. Maybe she is new, that is fine. However, the fat woman come to told me off when I was eating, I found it awful, irrespectful and rude. I made me feel like a theft, and like I was try to steal or avoiding something. Such a dreadful experience, the food is not good, people treat you like a criminal, please do not go there.
I visited Wrexham, coming from Kent, 2 years ago and discovered some really delicious food. I tried the pulled pork wrap and it was amazing. During this visit, I ordered a breakfast box for £5.95, which came with 9 items. The sausages were especially delicious and the breakfast was very tasty overall. There is a wide selection of sweet treats available as well, though everything on the menu is a bit pricey. The service was friendly with a smile. I highly recommend visiting Chatwins to everyone.
