Il Cavallino - Wülfrath

Just went to the fast pizza dinner, we thought before the door: closed! (no man there!)The ambiente is rather sweet and uncomfortable!The drink selection is only moderate. the salads to the appetizer were simple, bad dressing, little taste and almost only iceberg salad.The pizza was tastefully ok, but the floor was tough and not really good.We don't come back.

We always like to go to the il cavallino. especially the pizza is recommended to take with you too.

Because there is not so much in the place, we also landed in the flandersbach in the il Cavallino.Due to the reviews we expected a very good Italian. What we found was a very interesting style mix at the facility. in summer, however, a very beautiful beer garden is available. the really important point that eating was presented to us by the head of the house. at the advice to the very large menu he was very helpful and friendly. the food itself was appealingly dressed and smelled very appetizing. Unfortunately, it was a bit fat. pizza with rucola has to, my opinion, not greasy drops. that has unfortunately not changed the taste for better. in principle, however, it was edible and, what I find important, fresh!In the after-seating, the choice is similar to the main dishes. in the dessert plate you get something from everything. in any case enough for two.Very recommended is the ice with mandling and chocolate sauce. that's clearly something else. they are surprising );-the drinks and wine selection is good, with the weepings corresponding to a good one. we will come back in summer and test the salads and pasta.

We have been to this restaurant two weeks ago. Wonderful place in the countryside. Great food, especially the scaloppine. VERY GOOD. I will return for sure.
