The market on the marketplace (formerly Jewish quarter würzburg) has many healthy things to offer. in winter there is even an idyllic Christmas market with a lot of glowing wine.

The Christmas market is currently attracting people around an obelisk on the square in front of the Gothic marienkapelle and the baroque brook house. (also on 15 December 2019). Eat and drink are provided, as well as souvenirs for christmas. the stands on the square are festively illuminated. Unfortunately, I was not there when the six bells were arranged around 12 o'clock with the Franconian marian song, which was composed for this chapel in the 17th century.
