Wirtshaus Lammle - Würzburg

Both the food and service lived up to our expectations - our original choice was closed while the owner was on vacation, but this was a great alternate choice. Everything was tasty and perfectly seasoned and the outside seating was very cozy and cool under the shade trees (it was quite warm while we were on vacation there). Prices were good and everything was served quickly

We went here after our tour-guide suggested that this was where natives went when they wanted good food for a good price. The beer garden was full, but the service was still reasonably fast and the food was delicious, especially the Schäufele with Knödel!

We had a lovely dinner out on the patio. Portions were very large, everything was prepared perfect. Just around the corner from the busy Marketplatz but a world apart. Prices are very reasonable.

My wife and I have been at this restaurant a few days ago. Quiet establishment in an authentic place. We ordered potato soup with croutons and liver on grille + draft unfiltered beer. All liked to us. If you want to try the local cuisine, I recommend to visit this place.
