Wittelsbacher Hoh - Würzburg

We were there with 11 people which included 3 very young kids. The outdoor restaurant was excellent for our purpose. The food was tasty and reasonably priced.

It was nice to enjoy a delicious meal overlooking the town below and the Marienburg fortress. Our waiter was even kind enough to give us some history of the fortress. We all enjoyed our meals and had a variety of meat (Saltimbocca, steak, salmon)and pasta dishes (spaghetti, fettuccine).

This was one of the best restaurants with a beautiful view, wonderful staff and excellent food and drink. We sat on the outside patio in the early evening and the view was spectacular. Our waiter was efficient and spoke good English. He brought out all the food in a timely manner. It was hot and a treat for the eyes to behold. The taste was great. Everybody at our table had an awesome time.

We were here for the breakfast. So many choices, fresh fruits, warm food, different kind of breads. I love a bread (didn't know the name), kind of croissant but salty and could not find it anywhere in Germany, except in this hotel. The terrace has...a beautiful view of Marienberg Fortress. The staff were very kind.
