A lovely pub run by Alwyn who cannot do enough to make you feel welcome. We found this pub via google reviews, looking for a venue that could take a party of 13 with two dogs, which is more difficult than it sounds. Alwyn fitted us in at short notice, the food was lovely, prices reasonable and the atmosphere great. A fantastic genuine pub, with a lovely landlady. Service: 5 Location: 5
Very nice place. The food is great, hot and tasty, and the small Sunday roast was actually pretty big! 10/10 would recommend Service: 5

Not being from the area at all,we wanted to stay somewhere close to the Ragley Hall Game Fair and being disabled,I needed somewhere who would welcome my Service Dog.After ringing 23 other B&Bs and Hotels in the area and being turned away because of my dog, I rang these guys.By gosh am I glad I did.It was a immediate yes of course no questions asked. As we arrived we were met by a lovely young lady and made to feel so very welcomed. We were not just given our room key,we were shown to our room.Well the room was absolutely gorgeous, just beautiful just what you would want from a old traditional B&B.Everything was absolutely spotless.the downstairs area was also very lovely and our Tea was absolutely amazing.Having had Ham,Egg and Chips,i noticed how generous the portions were and oh so delicious, the ham actually is cooked and prepared in house. My partners Steak meal was also very generous. All the staff wer so friendly and could not do enough for us,neither were they frightened to come and have a natter and good laugh, just kind, caring and down to earth people. So if you are looking for a good old down to earth no frills and no pretentious rubbish B&B then this is the place to go.We can’t thank all of the staff enough for everything they did for us.We will definitely be back. All the very best to all the staff for the future.Angie,Martin and Charlie the dog.
