Marlow Bottom Fish - Wycombe

Went to this chip shop asked if they could cook one portion of my chips a little bit extra, was blatantly told NO. I have never been anywhere before where all 4 staff were so miserable. Chips under cooked and soggy batter on my fish. I should have walked out when they said NO Seriously need to up their game on customer service

We ordered 4 large cod and 2 chips plus mushy peas…. The fish were freshly cooked and still crispy when we got them home…. There were plenty of chips for 4 people and we liked the mushy peas… overall a good takeaway…. We will be back, it is worth the trip to Marlow Bottom even though we live close to Marlow town….

Fish and dry and chewy. Female member of staff obviously didn’t want to be there, rude Won’t return. Sort your staff out!

I am very partial to fish and chips shops. Quite a good one. Large portions, the big fish is very big. Even the regular chips are very big and important point not frozen ones. Good value for money. The most important, the taste, very fresh cod, crispy batter. Members of the family took the scampi, also very good. No doubt, I will come back.

Best there is in the Marlow area but still trading on the previous owners copious awards. Surly young staff who act like they’re godlike really doesn’t do them any favours. Portion sizes quite good, great chips.
