We went for Sunday lunch and had a lovely meal. Generous portions of meat, vegetables and the roast potatoes were (nearly) as good as my own. Gravy served separately, which I prefer. The service was quick and we didn't have to wait long for our meal. Unfortunately I couldn't manage a dessert but those that came out of the kitchen looked delicious, and they have two new lagers on tap, Rebellion and Fullers, so they went down well also. Highly recommended.
About 20 of us of mixed ages for family do. Brilliant fresh food and friendly service at such food prices. Highly recommended.
Great food as always and served by family friendly staff. Always reliable and great value. 6 happy adults and one happy toddler.
During our stay at the local Premier Inn, we were not impressed by the appearance of the Brewers Fayre restaurant. However, after a short 10-minute walk with the help of a local, we discovered a wonderful pub. It had a welcoming atmosphere and felt like a true community pub. After enjoying a drink, we informed the owner that we would like to return for dinner that evening. She promptly reserved a table for us without hesitation. We had a fantastic evening with delicious food and a selection of real ales and quality red wine. If you are searching for a great spot for food and drinks, this pub could be the perfect choice. We commend everyone involved, including the friendly clientele who added to the overall ambiance of the place.
