Landon Winery Wylie

We had no food, so this review of wine and atmosphere. We ordered the Temparnillo, Pinot Nior and the Texan. The staff works hard around the ground like very high Umpa Lumpas. The wines were very good, and it was half-price bottle night (not the actual name of the day)...so score! The facility is an older building with exposed bars and wine bottles in wall displays. They bought the room next door, so the interior is quite spacious... except half the price bottle night. You must literally troll if you want to sit inside. At the next visit we will try the food that looks really delicious.

I bought a bottle of their sauvignon blanc, I have to say, it was one of the best I have had. And I thought California sauvignon blancs were the best, way to go Texas!

My favorite place to go to Wylie. Wonderful selection of wine, great atmosphere and great service. I love Landon Winery!!

Nice tasting room. The Texan Rum Barrel (dry in Barbados Rum Barrels) was absolutely INCREDIBLE. Grapes from Lubbock are always a victory for me. Steve was so nice and also offers excellent service. I will return, it was a nice warm environment and there are a lot of wines I would still like to try.
