They also have a nice pool and attractive surrounds.
Quite simply - if you are really serious about having a Five Star experience in East Kimberley, then visit and stopover at Parry Creek Farm!!!! And this year, take them a drop of rain as well, too as the East Kimberley has experienced the worst dry wet season in a decade or more..... but don't let that deter you from experiencing how amazing the Kimberley and Parry Creek are and can be, even during drought.....Australia, after all, is the great land of drought and flooding rains and both offer nature lovers and adventurers an opportunity unique like no other land on earth can offerMy partner and I have just returned home to America from six and a half weeks driving from Sydney to Wyndham, back to Darwin, and finishing in the red centre at Uluru and Alice Springs, so when we tell you that Parry Creek Farm offers you a 15-star tourism experience, you can rest assured that we know first-hand the calibre of our recommendation. During our 42 days on the road in Australia, Peg and I experienced some amazingly great service and also our fair share of very ordinary service too!!!!We stayed a week at Parry Creek and we could have easily stayed forever. Meeting other tourists. Being treated as the most important people - and the only people - on the planet by our hosts .... and seeing others treated the same way also is an awesome experience. The hospitality is simply divine. At Parry Creek you are more than a guest, you're a friend.....The walkways elevated over the lagoon are amazing by night and day. The barking owls and birdlife, even in this drought year, are still very impressive in their numbers and friendliness. The snakes are plentiful too close to the buildings, especially early in the morning, so shoes on please; but none were aggressive as they have plenty of space and clean grass to slide away from you. Because the grounds are kept impeccably, as well, all wildlife sees you in plenty of time as well as you seeing it..... If you've never experienced Australian wildlife in such abundance, as my wife hadn't, then well presented grounds and abundant wildlife, including snakes and spiders are a wonderful experience and not to be feared. Frogs in the toilet and geckos on the screens at night, within a setting full of ghost gums, boabs, and oaks just make the setting even more wild and wonderful all at once. The ambience of the pool after a day exploring the Five Rivers region is refreshing.Wood fired pizza enjoyed in the company of the hosts along with great Australian wine, or just a cold beer or two, really hits the spot. And then there is .....Parry the dog, who lets his Master think that humabs are in charge, but really Parry runs the show. Just check out how well that dog rides a quad bike and you'll see what we mean!!!! Honestly, if you want to experience something very special, whether you have a tent, caravan, RV or are looking for quality, affordable Motel and high end outback Cabin accommodation with magnificent home cooked meals and service that is second to none then book yourself into Parry Creek.Enjoy
Good choices- Barra of course, Mulga curry , Steak...all cooked well. Bar drinks available. Motel night came with continental breakfast....nice coffee.
Staff happily chatted and made us the first coffee for the season. It was lovely to have a refreshing swim and a nice hot coffee to take on the road. I wish we had have been there later so I could enjoy the famous mango cheescake!
