We were in Dramanti a few times and always enjoyed it. Not sure if they changed management, but our last visit was a shame. We ordered vegan Okonomiyaki only 25-30 minutes later to say that it was actually not vegan. We agreed to have Poke Shots instead, which we were explained with Tofu. They did not arrive for another good 25 minutes until what point we were starving. There was no tofu, the ingredients were a mixture of hot and cold vegetables and quinoa, which simply did not work and the sauce was not on our taste at all. I forgot to ask if there is a difference in the price between what we ordered and what we got, so we basically paid $60 for two bowls of vegetables and quinoa and two cold drinks (which also arrive for 30 minutes). There were very few other customers in so I am not sure why everything took so long, other people were served before us who came after us, what my pet Peeve from Essen is! It won't be back. Found this place today thanks to a Happy Cow search. So many vegan options on the menu and in the closet. Both sweet and hearty. Also quite expensive. The staff was wonderful and the place had a great mood. Would give 5 stars if I could!
Came for breakfast with my partner. We were welcomed by friendly staff immediately and offered seats and menus. Table water was immediately overtaken and we were invited to order at the switch when it is finished. To a good start! Menu has only two vegan meal by default, but several others have a vegan option. I was curious what the vegan option for breakfast Tacos was as it contains eggs and bacon, and was recommended to exchange it for tofu and mushrooms. Sounds good and the employee said it was her favorite, so I ordered, and my partner ordered the Char Vegetable Toastie. Eating quickly came out and was well presented, angry had the Tacos pineapples in them that were not listed. Tacos were fine, but the cut avocado was all together on the side, not distributed over all, and the tofu was just a long piece that it was tricky to eat and the blue corn tortillas did not stand a chance to host all the ingredients and so I changed to a knife and fork. The Char Vegetable Toastie was definitely the hero. The bread was amazing and all ingredients worked well together. Coffee was pretty good, but I had better. They also had some vegan sweets available, including a cookie and cream brownie slice, carrot cake and banana bread. I really wanted to try her, but at $9.90, it was a bit much. Overall, it was a good breakfast, I'm just glad that someone plucked vegans as there aren't many other options in the area. Will probably come back to try another meal at one point, but will definitely get the toastia again!
The hotel is located on the back of the parking lot over the street of Coles parking. Many vegan choices, great atmosphere, friendly staff.
