Fortunes - Wyre Forest

I recently dined at this restaurant under new ownership and tried two meals in the past three weeks. Unfortunately, the last meal was so bad that I had to throw it out. I will not be returning to this establishment and suggest they change the chefs who know how to cook.

After hearing numerous positive reviews, we decided to try out this restaurant. We have dined at several local Chinese restaurants and I must say, this one was the worst. The food was lukewarm and unappetizing. The chicken was dry and bland, and the rest of the dishes didn't fare much better. Even the egg fried rice was subpar, tasting like it came from a microwave pouch. Needless to say, we will not be dining here again. Very disappointing experience.

Tried most of the Chinese takeaway restaurants in the town now, this place is at the other end of the town from me so a bit of a drive, but since we tried it, we haven't gone anywhere else, the food is fantastic, can't recommend highly enough.

This is the best Chinese takeaway in the area! The food is always good never had a bad meal from there. It's a family ran place and they are so so friendly! Knowing most of their customers by name. I wouldn't have Chinese anywhere else.

We thought we would try Fortunes again, quite a few of our friends have recommended this Chinese takeaway. Yet we still haven't had what we would call a good experience. It doesn't look or smell that fresh when you walk in and the beef satay contains pineapple which is a little odd? All in all nothing we ordered lit up our taste buds, mine was an uninspiring set meal and my wife ordered a main from the menu. Just one thing, the chips were good.
