Severn Tandoori - Wyre Forest

My wife and I visited this restaurant on a short stopover in Bewdley. They have a special deal on Sundays and Thursdays, and as it was a Thursday we were lucky. For £14.95 we could have poppadom and chutney tray, any starter, any main, rice or naan, tea or coffee. This was a bargain as separately these items would have cost about £10 more. There was a good choice on the menu, and we particularly enjoyed our starters of stuffed pepper and lamb chops. For main course my wife has a biryani, which was huge, probably too much rice for the meat and sauce, but easy to leave some. I had a curry which came on a sizzler (not sure of the name) which was good but drier than I expected, and without the depth of taste I am used to. Probably not the best choice but perfectly acceptable. The naan was excellent. A good value, tasty meal.

The food at the restaurant was delicious, but I was disappointed by the lack of mint sauce. I ordered one popadom and a side of mint sauce, but only received two popadoms and a small amount of mint sauce. Despite this, everything else was fantastic. I would consider ordering again, as long as I didn't miss the small appetizer.

The restaurant review stated that the food was great despite the missing drinks can.

Ordered at 8pm and didn’t arrive until 10.38 absolute joke will never order from here again food was cold will not recommend

The food is very good and I have 5 star reviewed previously. Tonight I had an item missing which by the time it arrived the food was cold. Please express to your staff how important it is to deliver correctly. I look forward to my next meal
