Jd's Cafe - Wyre

Last day in Cleveleys, found this wonderful cafe. The place was spotless and the lady who served me was charming. Been staying in Cleveleys and working in Blackpool for the summer season. Only wish I'd found it on my first day I would have been...a regular!

We both had a very tasty and satisfying light lunch here. The menu is, I think, more than adequate to suit most peoples needs in a clean, simple and relaxed enviroment not far from the main street.

Came across this little cafe by chance....was greeted with a very warm welcome. Even though it was quite busy we were served quickly. We were spoilt for choice when ordering. My husband decided to give the belly buster' breakfast a try.... Wow!! Definately not for...the faint hearted, looked great and tasted superb. I wanted to leave room for dessert so I opted for poached eggs on toast....best poached eggs I've ever had! My old dear mum decided on a ham and cheese toasty..... Which to her surprise came with a lovely fresh side salad and home made coleslaw. Even though we were pretty stuffed we couldn't resist on choosing from the fantastic selection of cakes....... We had manchester tart, caramel shortbread, and a huge Viennese whirl. And not to forget milky coffees. As we all tucked in, the room was full of chatter and everyone was giving compliments to the chef. The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We were surprised to hear that the cafe is under new ownership within the last three weeks....... This couple have done an amazing job and definately know how to run a super business. Full marks, and we wish you every success for the future........next time we are in town we will definately be back, can't wait to try the lancashire hot pot! Thanks again..... See you soon.

Was visiting my friends when I came across JD's cafe, it was fast and friendly service, great food and I will definitely be returning there. Would recommend this cafe if you are in the area

Excellent food and excellent service, lovely family business. There is definitely a massive improvement from the previously owned.
