The Fish Chip Plaice - Wyre

The fish and chips at this restaurant are top-notch and one of the best options in Garstang. I would give the food, service, and atmosphere all a rating of 4 out of 5.

I stopped by for lunch and ordered fish and chips, battered sausage and chips, and sausage and chips with curry sauce. The chips were fantastic - not too oily or crunchy, just perfect. The fish was large with a lovely batter and big flakes of white fish. The battered sausage was also delicious. I will definitely be returning for more. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch.

This restaurant is lovely and conveniently located near us. As another reviewer mentioned, I live in a working-class neighborhood. The portions are really generous, the chips are the best I've had in a long time, and the fish was huge. They only accept cash, but that's not a problem for me. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a takeout dinner.

Visited this little tucked away chippy the other week, good fish and chips and they had beans! Believe me some chippys don't..... Very friendly staff serving cooking well she was doing everything when I visited to be honest..... Good chippy though just a shame it's kind of hidden! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
