Although it was not listed on the menu, there were delicious fresh oysters available. I would be happy to see more local ingredient dishes on the menu. It is conveniently located near the port, so you can easily take a 7-minute ferry ride from the neighboring town of Umiashi for just 300 yen one way. It's a unique experience to take a boat ride to go out for a meal that you can't find elsewhere. The ferries run late into the night, so it's not a problem.
Located in front of the Beppu Port on Nishinoshima Island, in the Oki Islands. This is a dining room affiliated with Hotel Oki. Around noon, when the ferry from the mainland arrives, the number of customers in the restaurant suddenly increases. The prices are a bit on the higher side. The rice in the seafood bowl was white rice, while the seafood chirashi was made with vinegared rice. The ingredients were fresh, but the selection was a bit limited. However, being on an island, it's understandable. The service was excellent. They had a TV and a cozy atmosphere. They also sold some souvenirs.
