I had the katsu curry. The breading on the katsu was seasoned, and even without the curry, the rice was delicious. It had a taste similar to Famichiki. The curry was on the sweeter side. It had a homey and tasty flavor. I recommend the set menu for men. I think individual items are not enough. It seems like an elderly woman is running the store alone. Please be patient from ordering to receiving your food.
Although in the same southern district of the prefecture, I rarely have the opportunity to go in this direction, so I happened to come across a restaurant called Tokyo-ya. It seems to have been in business for a long time. There was a large lantern inside the store with the year it opened written on it. Despite its age, the interior of the store is very clean. The restroom was also clean. The food was delicious, and I had a pleasant time. Watching the mother cook efficiently made me want to help out, as her hard work and dedication were evident. She cooks alone, so it is recommended to be patient while waiting. She is a very cute and friendly mother. I will visit again and hope she stays healthy forever. I wish I had started coming here sooner.
