The salads, made with fresh and well-maintained vegetables, and the soft drinks are creative and excellent. Yesterday, we enjoyed the delicious Lion’s Mane mushroom patties along with a fabulous salad.
I was very pleased with the Buddha dishes here, and the beer was excellent as well. The pickled vegetables were also tasty. It is a bit pricey, but the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was comfortable.
The restaurant was closed, even though Google and the posted hours on the door indicated otherwise. Save yourself the disappointment and consider visiting Rogue (Newport) or Depoe Bay Brewing instead. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
The disappointing part is that the flavors that came through, aside from the salt, were quite good! The pork had a nice taste, the various krauts were excellent, and we enjoyed most of the pickles, although the green beans were a bit too vinegary for our liking. The garlic cucumbers stood out as the best dish. Honestly, if the salt level had been halved, the food could have been amazing. I feel let down after spending $80 on what should have been delightful food, only to leave still hungry because I couldn't enjoy much of it. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back to this restaurant. On a positive note, they do offer options for gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian diets.
This is a wonderful place! The beer was enjoyable, and the food was quite tasty. I was disappointed that they didn’t have gluten-free bread as mentioned on the menu. There is a variety of options for those with food sensitivities. There are plenty of seating choices both indoors and outdoors. The service was also good.
