Old old times feel. Seats are lumpy. The food is simple and simple, but really good cheap. Homemade cake was like grannies in the 50s. The service was also great.
Best country cooking in Yadkinville. Hey, it's the only country that cooks in Yadkinville. Others can say that offer land cooking and even vegetables, not to be deceived. If you can't hear the side meat sizzling or see the fat in the beans - just push to Jim's and pick up your country. Jim's still in 2017 brings the country to cooking!

I ordered a plate of fried chicken tenders with cole slaw tater-tots a biscuit with butter. All of it was DELICIOUS! The tenders felt crispy on the outside but moist on the inside, the toasted biscuits were also a home-run, with a thin layer of golden-brown crisp on the outside warm butter inside. They prepared the tater-tots perfectly too! They were light crispy, the person I ate with said he could eat a whole meal of just those tater-tots alone. They diced the cole slaw into very fine/small cubes soaked it all in a vinegar-based mixture; it was refreshing cut through the butter/grease/oil of the biscuits chicken tenders tater-tots. The person that I ate with enjoyed everything he ordered: chicken tenders, hush-puppies, stewed cabbage, tater-totes, corn-nuggets, baked apples. Both our meals TOGETHER cost about $24, after taxes before tip. The waitress serving us was very warm, patient, polite. I also noticed a HELP WANTED sign in the window (see the pictures I uploaded).
