The Marina - Yangon

I came to this restaurant expecting quality food, service and presentation....needless to say, I was disappointed on all three aspects...the food was bland and simply unimpressive, the service was uninviting and the restaurant is simple without any real ambiance...the only exception was the chicken tikka which had a decent flavour ..the curry which I asked to be extra spicy was tasteless, the naan bread crumbled in my hands and it was downhill from there ..no kulfi...but on the menu... Pathetic experience for 50000 kyat for one person and I was feeling completely ripped off as I left ..the value for price was astoundingly low .never again here for me!

For Indian food this place is legendary in Yangon. Price is not cheap but it is not exorbitant. The cooking style is not watered down, it is powerful, spicy and there's no compromise for the delicate taste buds of the casual tourist. For Indian food this is the ONE
