Taqueria El Rey - Yankee Hill

Ordered the menudo twice now. Both times way over cooked, mushy, and not alot of flavor. Im new to the area, and am looking for a good menudo place. Just have to keep looking.

I stopped in quick for a sit down lunch. I've always wanted to try this place. Kept it simple with a steak burrito. Food was amazing and was at my table in minutes. 10/10!

Taqueria El Rey is a great mom and pop Mexican restaurant. The food seems authentic, tastes delicious, and it was plentiful at a good price. I'm a nerdy caucasian guy but I felt welcomed and well served by the staff. The restaurant itself is small and basic but it's clean and well maintained. 4.5/5 stars, highly recommend!

The food is horrible. They gave us a teaspoon of soupy beans with a lot of rice, the birria tacos are horrible. The tortilla is too hard.
