Dhaba On Wheels - Yārāda

When I entered this restaurant the first thing i noticed was the smell of wet old furniture.... I would give this restaurant not more than 1 point for hygiene. I was scared to even try the food at this place fearing what could be the hygiene standards in the kitchen.... But when i did try the food, i liked the flavours quite a bit... The sarso ka saag was mild and flavourful abd the makki ki roti was complimenting well, i have also tried the mushroom palak and anda bhurji which were okay. But the restaurant has to concentrate more on cleanliness.

We had gone for a quick lunch. For starters we ordered chilli paneer. It turned out to be quite crispy and tasty. The paneer butter masala was good though it could have been much better. There were no desserts available which was a big disappointment.

Long ago this used to be the place we visit, if we want some flavors of Punjabi in the city and which was very pocket friendly. So we went in to have something from down the memory. They were always special in their tandoori items and rotis along with paneer curries and butter chicken. They offer a good portion of mint chutney and vinegar soaked onions along papad too as complimentary. The naan and curries are enough made with generous amount of butter. They have come up with a different name for the place now. But this place has degraded to crappy and ratty interiors and ambience, which questions to step in these days, they got to do lot of works with their hygiene and cleanliness seriously.

Very nice dosa at middle of night. Some really crazy ideas of business which are successful these days. Good maintenance of equipment too. Batter of dosa was very smooth which simulated great crunch.

As soon as you walk in the first thing you notice is the poor shape of the interiors. The place doesnot justify its name in any manner possible. However the taste of the food was good.
