Muddy Rudder Yarmouth

It’s certainly a challenging time to find well-trained staff, and our experience reflected that. Despite the service hiccup, we will definitely return. We have dined there often in the past and have never encountered this level of service before. As for the food, the cole slaw had some discoloration in spots, and a few dishes weren’t served at the right temperature, but overall, it was still edible. There was perhaps too much pasta, but the sauce was delicious and the meat quite tender. The steak tips were okay, but I wouldn’t order them again. The grilled fish I ordered was cooked perfectly. Unfortunately, after the initial service, we had to wait 20 minutes for dessert because the waitress had disappeared. Overall, it was a somewhat frustrating experience, but we still appreciate the restaurant.

I visited for lunch for the first time, and I was thoroughly impressed. The food was excellent, with plenty of healthy options, and the view was absolutely beautiful.

We both enjoyed the seared scallops with gnocchi, and as usual, it was an excellent dish. The scallops were large and cooked to perfection, and they paired wonderfully with the gnocchi and cream sauce. However, given the price of the entree, we would recommend a slightly larger portion of gnocchi. We also hope to see the return of the bread basket, which was a unique offering accompanied by sweet butter that we always looked forward to during our meals at Muddy Rudder.
