The Snack Place Restaurant - Yarmouth

This place was absolutely incredible. This small, humble spot in a tiny town on the south shore of Nova Scotia served me the most delicious meal I have ever had.

I have visited several restaurants in the past and have enjoyed some delicious seafood meals. Maine is known for its excellent seafood, whether you are in Southern or Western Nova Scotia.

This is one of the few good restaurants in Pubnico. We were grateful we had made reservations because the restaurant was busy at 6 PM on a Sunday evening.

We stopped in for supper, and had the special. 3 pc fish and chips, or clams and fries. We ordered 1 of each. Both meals were really good. The fish was cooked perfectly and so were the clams. The price for our meals and coffee to drink came to a total of 27.03. More food than we could eat, and very tasty. Great wait staff as well. We will go back for sure.

Snack place is always amazing !!! I've been going since I was a young girl, when they were in the old location (where the dinner plate currently is), and the food is still the same in their new location (by the ferry terminal)! Few favourites are the all day breakfast, FISH & CHIPS (huge serving and always fresh and delicious), and their cheeseburgers (omg, omg)... Thanks for always being great !! ❤️ I'll be back over & over again, every time I visit down home !!
