After living in Coldstream for 18 years and experiencing a few changes in ownership, Coldstream Fish Bites still stands out as the best fish and chips spot in the area. Unlike Lilydale Fish n chips, which has forgotten parts of our order in the past, Coldstream Fish Bites consistently serves up delicious fish, mouthwatering corn jacks, tasty dim sims (even larger than those in South Melbourne), crunchy chips (with the option of normal salt or chicken salt - always go for the chicken salt!), and fresh garden salad with shredded lettuce, tomato, red onion, and cucumber, with or without dressing. The salads pair perfectly with a piece of grilled fish. The friendly service and good value for money make this place a top choice for fish and chips.
