Godfathers Pizza Cafe - Yarraville

While the rest of Yarraville seems to have embraced its modern status as an inner-city vegie haunt, Godfather’s pledges staunch loyalty to the suburbs – resembling a typical residential corner pizzeria outside and in. This joint offers all the classics – margherita, Hawaiian, meat lovers and co – but is famed for its stunning range of gourmet pizzas. Godfather’s Sujuk pizza is unconventional – with sujuk, capsicum, spring onion and olives presenting a brave hybrid between a Turkish pide and a traditional pizza. It hits the spot regardless – offering bite in terms of both crispiness and the mild aftershock after nibbling into the sausage. The portions are especially generous, with a ‘small’ pizza likely to sate even the largest of appetites. Certainly not least of all, a side of chips is worth serious consideration – golden, immaculately crispy, and spilling centimetres over the brim of a deep bowl: textbook fries.

30 minutes plus to get my pizza waiting at shop for pick up pizza was cold salmon looks like it’s off would never recommend this place to anybody score 2 out of 10

Terrible, we saw the menu online and called to ask what was in the antipasto risoto because im pregnant and i need to be careful with what i eat. The girl that answered the phone did not know what was in it but found out that it had various vegetables. We ordered the parmigiana and antipasta risoto online but when it was delivered, the parma was dry and the chips were barely warm. The worst part is that the risoto had seafood in it, and after calling to ask why we wernt told, we found out that they had accidentlty given us paella and they would send a new one. The guy arrived with the new one and even though we offered, didnt take the paella. even the new risotto didnt taste good and leaves me feeling like ive just thrown my money in the trash because i didnt eat.

Have ordered home delivery on a no of occasions. Although many pizza cafes are closer, it's worth the extra wait and slight delivery charge

So this is the 4th order we have placed and the 4th order that has been incorrect. The last order did not arrive and was not being made until we called to ask where it was after the hour and a half wait. The other two were missing items. Tonight for the forth time, we were missing 2 jam donuts... After calling and waiting for 15+ minutes on the phone for anyone to help us they took other another order and could not find our order... Then some rude man gets on the phone only to tell us he packed the order so I know it 's in there... Very irate, rude and a pure disgusting display of customer service. After it went back and forth with the rude and aggressive man we stated we are coming down because this is ridiculous did he only then change his statement to oh the driver must not have given it then abruptly said I 'm sending it now GOODNIGHT and proceeded to hang up the phone. We also recorded the entire conversation so if and owner or manger would like to view how disgusting this staff member is by all means contact me. You get a substantial amount of money off our household which include our flat mates, I will never order from your pizza shop again purely because of the man we spoke to tonight.
