Enjoyed a lovely Mother’s Day meal with my family, the waiting staff were excellent, food delicious, yummy cocktails and free chocs to take home we’ll be back! Thank you! X
We came for the first time this evening and will definitely be back. The staff should be singled out for a special mention, very welcoming, friendly and efficient. The food was very good and the decor bright and airy. Would recommend.
Lovely staff lovely food lovely surroundings . Would highly recommend Amalfi
My sister ordered the fish, which I believe was sea bass, accompanied by a healthy serving of salad and linguine—she really enjoyed it! I chose the chicken rolata, which resembled an Italian twist on a Yorkshire pudding wrap. Essentially, it was a pizza rolled around chicken; a creative concept that I hadn't encountered before, striking a balance between a pizza and a calzone but without the messiness of a calzone. The portion sizes were very generous. My mother had a fantastic pizza, and she could only finish half, which I later took home in a doggy bag. My aunt ordered the lasagna, which was delicious, and I caught a taste of it—just one bite! Unfortunately, I can’t recall what my father had, but it was clear he wasn’t too keen on sharing! We also shared various sides around the table, including greens, zucchini, and a creamy maize dish, all of which were to die for. I highly recommend the creamy maize; even though it doesn't pair traditionally with pizza, I couldn't help but eat nearly all of it! Overall, it was a delightful Sunday meal, complemented by wonderful waitstaff. Oh, and the house white wine was very reasonably priced at £11 a bottle—hard not to indulge at that rate! I almost forgot to mention my favorite part: the bread and butter pudding! Imagine panettone meets traditional bread and butter pudding; that’s what we had! It was deliciously rich, filled with pockets of melted chocolate and served with a sweet homemade custard. It was featured as a special and, at £4.20, it was large enough for two—definitely make space for it! If anyone is looking for a fantastic meal, I highly recommend this place. We enjoyed three delicious courses for a very reasonable bill, and I know I’ll be back for more in the future!
