Areni Wine Factory is a good wine factory in Areni area. You can taste wine various types of wine if you want, and a tour with a professional guide in the factory as well. The white wine is great. You have a large space to sit and also have hot and cold drinks. For large groups it is recommended to book your tour in advance as there are many people who visit this place in the summer. Founded in 1994, Areni Wine Factory is among the oldest and most well-established wine facilities in the area. The winery has welcomed some 30,000 visitors every year since 2012. A tour of the factory includes a walk through the cellar where wine is aged in massive oak casks, followed by a tasting of the winery’s selection of traditional and fruit wines. In an upstairs dining area, guests can order coffee or tea and watch a short video about the Armenian winemaking tradition and the history of the company. Lunch and lavash making master class on site can be arranged with advance noticed. A small craft shop offers souvenirs and handmade gifts as well as a selection of wines for purchase.
