My family went to the restaurant for brunch on Mother's Day to celebrate. Unfortunately, it took over 30 minutes to receive our drinks, and we had to wait an additional 15 minutes for two of the eight drinks that were missing. The food also took a long time to come out and was brought out in two separate shifts, resulting in a 20-minute gap between each shift. This meant that some of us had to eat our meals cold while waiting for others to receive theirs. We often visit this restaurant for dinner and usually receive excellent service, but our brunch experience was disappointing.
The asparagus was cooked to perfection and was delicious with a fantastic sauce, without any tough bits. It was amazing! Furthermore, the menu allows you to choose between a large dish or multiple smaller ones, offering a great variety of options.
Overall a very enjoyable experience. I had a very good house salad with lots of various sprouts, and lite dressing. The scallops on risotto (or was it orzo? were very good. Dessert of bread pudding was delicious. We've been to this restaurant every few years for the past 36 years and have never been disappointed.
Nice restaurant. Need some plant-based protein (e.g., tofu) options for vegetarians. Always go here when we are in YSO.
